I had one of the toughest night of my career as a comedy hypnotists in Ballincollig Rugby Club at the weekend - but it was a great show. When I arrived I discovered that the sound system promised was not there. We made a few attempts to cobble something together but with no luck. So I had to stand on a chair and shout at the crowd of a hundred. Luckily the crowd were with me, and we got a great number of volunteers. Because of the sound problems I eliminated it down to four volunteers fairly quickly. They were naturals. We had two guys giving birth, and a woman snogging her daughter! But the following morning I couldn't speak! My voice was gone. As they say, a great night was had by all. |
